Presenting: DCR Vempire

As seen in this picture Vemp makes standing on her hind feet look so easy! She is a very nice rattie. Outgoing and monkeyminded. She was about three months old when she came to live with me and at first was a little gunshy of the whole relocation thing. But she has learned to trust me, (I give great treats!! LOL!)and we have become fast friends.

She is a very determined and persistent little bugger. As I'm sitting here writing this description she is determined she is going to climb down my arm and help me type on the keyboard. I keep telling her I don't need any help, but she is trying to assist all the same!! :>)

Vempire was given to me by Deer Creek Rattery in a joint effort to produce some high quality black self ratties. A true black rattie that does not have any white on them are very rare to find. Usually they will get white hairs as they get older and their fur will fade out with patches of brown. We are hoping if we cross Vemp with Zeus the combination will not only produce a high quality black coated rattie or two, but also preserve the excellent confirmation of my Norwegian line. A win/win for both of us.
