He has a nice temperament and gets along with his cage mates. He is the father to all of them, but he is a homebody and doesn't like to come out much anymore. He runs and hides when I try to pick him up. He used to love to walk around everywhere. I guess he is just getting old. | He sprained his foot a while back, but it has healed up, other than that, his health has been excellent. UPDATE: 03/07/04, Tanner has developed a breathing problem. There is a red discharge coming from one of his nostrils. I have separated him into a "healing" unit and have started him on antibiotics, but I think it is just old age starting to catch up with him. He will be two next week. UPDATE: 03/08/04, Tanner passed on to the rainbow bridge sometime after midnight. He went quickly and died peacefully. |
