Update: 04/01/09 Well I guess I didn't get her away from him soon enough. I found Pan, what was left of him dead, a pile of bones and fur. She killed and ate him just like a black Widow Spider! I found her unconscious and put her to sleep to end her suffering and rein of terror in my life. Turned out Sweet Blue was not Sweet after all. Update: 03/27/09 I have Blue into breed with one of my dwarf males. A real sweet little boy. But Blue is starting to show signs of having heart disease. She is losing weight and her chest is concaved under her rib cage which I've always seen happen with rats with failing hearts. I will be removing her away from Pan and retiring her. As 0f 07/16/08 her health is excellent. |
