This is an agreement for the sale of the above named rat(s),
between Kathryn Lovings ("Breeder") and ___________________________________________ ("Buyer").
The conditions of this sale are as follows:
1. The Buyer accepts the responsibility for caring for above rat(s) and providing properly or its welfare.
2. The Buyer agrees that above rat(s) will always receive prompt medical care and will never be allowed to harbor parasites.
3. The Buyer agrees to provide companionship for above rat(s), either with a rat companion or human companionship.
4. The Buyer agrees to provide the above rat(s) with daily exercise and provide it with safe toys.
5. The Buyer agrees not keep the above rat(s) on cedar or pine bedding's, as they are harmful to rats.
6. The Buyer agrees to feed above rat(s) a well-balanced diet that includes fresh fruits and vegetables, and give fresh clean water.
7. The Buyer agrees that the above rat(s) will NEVER be sold, or given to any pet shop, animal shelter, research laboratory.
8. The Buyer agrees the above rat(s) will never be used as a food source for a reptile or other animal.
9. The Buyer agrees never to mentally or physically abuse the above rat(s), such as, picking it up by it's tail.
10. The Buyer agrees to keep the Breeder updated on health or temperament issues related to the above rat(s), including date(s) of death.
11. A rat that is sold as show quality is of this quality at time of sale, however, since rats change as they mature, Breeder cannot guarantee
that above rat(s) will maintain show characteristics as an adult.
12. Breeder guarantees the that the rat(s) being sold, is/are in good health. Breeder cannot guarantee the rats continued good health upon
leaving the premises of the Rattery. Buyer has examined the rat(s) they are purchasing and agrees that the rat(s) appear to be healthy.
13. Breeder recommends a twenty-one day quarantine period of above rat(s) to Buyer's who already own other pet rats.
14. Breeder has explained the proper quarantine practices to Buyer's who have other pet rats at home.
BUYER'S SIGNATURE indicates that they have reviewed and discussed this contract with Breeder PRIOR TO RECEIVING above rat(s) and is in full agreement and approval of the above terms and conditions.
