Nikki is so sweet and gentle. She is soft and cuddly. She is adorable. She got her name Nikki Nibbler, because she likes to sample everything she touches with her mouth. She doe not bite, she nibbles. That is part of her discovery process. She loves to be held and petted. She is calm and laid back. She comes right up to you. Comes right to the cage door to be let out. You don't not have to coax her, to be with you or to explore her surroundings. | Her health has been excellent. UPDATE: 03/02/05 Nikki is getting ready to have babies. I thought they were due yesterday. She is so fat she looks like she could pop. I hope everything goes alright, because this will be her last chance to have babies, she will be two in a few months. I'm very excited about these babies, because she is so nice and pretty and so is Bayou Blues, who she was bred to. UPDATE: 03/08/05, Nikki Hemorrhaged, but if she had babies they were stillborn and she must have disposed of them. None were found. She is now too old to breed again. Regrettably, I will not be able to carry on her line. She died on 9/17/05 of heart disease. She had been losing weight and was skin and bones, no matter how much she ate. She was a very sweet and gentle rattie. |
