She is a little shy but isn't mean. None of her litter mates were that friendly accept for Princess and Mooner, who got extra attention from everyone because of their unique markings. They were being raised during the transition from ER to TC.

I really believe that constant attention to young ratties up until four months old will have a baring on how friendly they will become and stay as adults. You need to form a bond during that time or they will be detached as adults, not mean, just indifferent, not needing you emotionally. But I've also seen this completely overcome as adults, when attention is finally showdered on them day and night. They are still capable of forming a bond with a human when you become their new "best friend." You need to regain their trust.

As of 01/03/06 her health is excellent.

Innlet hurt her leg a while back. She has been limping on it for a while. I found her dead today, 10/18/2006. She had been free roaming out in the pen at our property. By a fluke of nature we got a foot of snow. I think the cold was too much for her. This is the earliest this area has ever gotten snow. It was a record. We got all the other ratties out as soon as we could. Normally it stays nice enough for them to be outside until the end of October. How strange.
