Her markings are very bold and interesting. The black hood starts in the shape of a diamond acrossed her shoulders and narrows to almost a point by her tail. Even though I find her hood design striking, she is not a show class rat for the hooded category, but in my eyes... "Diamond Girl, you sure do shine, Diamond Girl, glad you're mine"(From Seals and Croft). Diamond Girl is one of the most beautiful hooded fancy rats I've every laid eyes on. She is a deep rich black, with a satiny finish to her fur. She is a little shy, I have to go find her in her hammock, she doesn't seek me out, but when I go to pick her up she doesn't try to get away and is content to spend time with me, sitting on my shoulder or tucked inside a layer of my shirt. |
So far her health has been excellent. As of 3/07/05 her health continues to be excellent. Nothing to report at this time. She died on 11/19/05 of old age. |
