| 03/23/2009 | Russian Dove Merle Rex Dumbo | Oooolala Dancin' is a pretty boy! A beautiful Russian Dove Merle. And sweet? Oh yes, gentle and cuddly and snuggly. He's cuddled inside the layers of my shirt and sticking his head out sniffing, but is content to just stay snuggled in. I love ratties like this! Chatter away sweet guy, I love that happy sound! I asked Dancin' if he was going to try out for Dancing With the Rattie Stars, but he said he wanted to try out for American Rat Idol instead and then proceeded to sing me a song as seen in this picture! LOL! :>) And you know what? He's not half bad! Sing away Dancin! And no it's not because I'm partial and his Mom...snicker...snicker. |
Update: 08/01/11, I'm so sad today because Dancin' has left me for the Bridge. He was such a neat rattie. He reminded me so much of his Granddad Sterling. He was pretty and snuggly and just everything you'd want in a furry friend. He was do laid back and tucked his feet in when you picked him up and loved having his belly kissed and for me to scratch him behind his ears. What a big squish...I miss you dear boy! I know you lived to be almost 2.5 like your Granddad...but I wanted you to live forever....bummed...when does death become easier to handle? Why does it always hurt like this? As of 06/10/09 health is excellent. |
