Crescent is shy and reserved. She will only come out if you take her out. She is not exploratory or adventurous, but she is curious. She has to know everything you are doing, she watches you, just doesn't care to be with you. If you bring her out, she will stay snuggled inside the layers of your shirt. When you look at her picture, it looks as if someone has said, "OK, now pose for the camera," and she did just that. She sure looks relaxed doesn't she? | As of 01/06/06 her health is excellent. Update: 11.28.06 I found Crescent dead today at the bottom of the cage. She hadn't been dead that long. It appears her sisters and cagemates decided to chew through the hammock during the night and it collasped. She must have fallen out and broke her neck. She was a friendly rattie always the first one to the cage door. During the summer when she was in the free roaming cage she was the one that always came over to see me. I think she was the sentry for the group, but she was a friendly one, not like her brother The Guardian. I always thought the Cresent Moon shape on her forehead was so cute. I'm sorry the end had to come as it did for her. |
