Presenting: SFR Cookies 'n Cream

My little Cookie is as sweet as her name. She is snuggly and cuddly, but out going at the same time. She pulls at my heart strings just to look at her. I love spending time with her. She loves to sit on my shoulder and walk around the house.

She has a very expressive tail. (I love rattie tails!) She curls it up when she runs on her wheel and it curls a lot when she is exploring new things. When she is relaxed it relaxes too. You can tell her mood by how she is holding her tail. It's really neat.

As of 10/21/06 her health has been excellent.

April 19th, 2007. I put Cookie in for breeding a couple of weeks ago. When I brought her back upstairs I noticed she had developed headtilt. I didn't dare give her antibiotics because it would hurt her babies. I didn't realize she couldn't reach her water bottle that hung from the top of the housing area, so I've been forcing water down in a eye dropper every couple of hours. It still looks like she's pregnant, but I'm sure she'll lose them. I may lose her as well. I already lost Ponger today. What a sad day this has been.

4/19/07 9:15pm. Cookie passed away in my arms. I'm so sad and bummed. She was the greatest little rattie girl. So gentle and sweet. Along with her went her yet to be born babies. Just sickens me.
