He is a really nice rattie. Very friendly, inquisitive, curious. He comes right out to see you and wants to be petted and held, but he would also like to explore if given the chance. He doesn't just want to sit there. He has a nice personality.
Update: 11.29.06 Blase's nose looks swollen. At first I thought maybe he had gotten bitten by one of the guys, but I don't see any bit wounds from the top, unless they got him under the chin. But it looks like the start of an abscess or a tumor. He looks a lot like Ginger did, but not as bad. It just looks swollen, not an actual lump. I'm keeping and eye on it and him. He didn't seem very perky.
12.01.06 Blase died today, from whatever was causing the swelling of his nose. The swelling did not get any worse than when I first saw it, so I ruled out it being an abscess. Something internally was going on that I couldn't see, possibly a brain tumor or cancer? Maybe someone in the cage pushed his head into the bars or something, causing water on the brain? He was a nice guy and big baby.
